Terms of Service

    Last updated: July 14, 2026

    1. Who We Are

LinkPilot is a product of TetraCore, a software company based in Ohio, United States. These terms are an agreement between you and TetraCore. Questions about these terms can be sent via the support page.

    2. Acceptance of Terms

By using LinkPilot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use LinkPilot on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

    3. Acceptable Use

You may not use LinkPilot to create links that distribute malware, phishing content, illegal material, or content that violates others' rights. We reserve the right to disable links or accounts that violate these policies. Suspected abuse can be reported from any short link's abuse report page.

    4. Accounts & Workspaces

You are responsible for activity in your workspace and for keeping your account credentials secure. Workspace owners control member roles and permissions; actions taken by workspace members within their granted roles are the workspace's responsibility.

    5. Secret Links

Secret links are designed to deliver sensitive content once and then destroy it. You remain responsible for what you share and for choosing appropriate protections (passphrases, expirations). Burned or expired secret content cannot be recovered by us or by you — that is by design. How secret payloads are stored and destroyed is documented in our security architecture page.

    6. Plans, Billing & Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again. When you cancel, your links keep redirecting on the free plan's limits. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review and correct genuine billing errors, including refunding erroneous charges.

    7. Rate Limits & Fair Use

To prevent abuse, link creation and redirect endpoints are rate-limited. Programmatic mass creation beyond plan limits may result in temporary throttling or account review.

    8. Data & Privacy

Your use of LinkPilot is also governed by our Privacy Policy. EEA, UK, and Swiss users can exercise data rights from the GDPR requests page.

    9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.

    10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where practical we will notify you and give you an opportunity to export your data first, except in cases of serious abuse.

    11. Limitation of Liability

LinkPilot is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from link destinations, click data accuracy, lost secret content, or service interruptions, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

    12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.

    13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date; continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
