Is LinkPilot really free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever and includes 50 short links, 1,000 tracked clicks per month, 3 team members, 5 secret links, click analytics for the last 7 days, and API access (1 key, 60 requests per hour). No credit card is required, and the anonymous tools work without any account at all. Custom domains, passphrase-protected secrets, and full analytics history are on Pro.
Is the API available on the Free plan?
Yes. Every plan includes REST API access; the plans differ in caps. Free includes 1 API key and 60 requests per hour. Pro includes 5 keys and 1,000 requests per hour. Agency and Agency Plus include 25 keys and 5,000 requests per hour. Keys use the lp_live_ format and are SHA-256 hashed at rest on every plan.
What happens if I hit my monthly click limit?
Your links keep redirecting — plan limits govern analytics and creation, not whether your links resolve. When you reach a limit you'll see an upgrade prompt in the dashboard for creating new resources.
Are anonymous Drop Links included on every plan?
Yes. Creating a Drop Link requires an account, but anyone can submit a message without signing in. Free includes 1 Drop Link and 25 messages per month per link (up to 2,000 characters each); Pro includes 10 and 500 per month per link (up to 10,000 characters). Agency, Agency Plus, and Enterprise include unlimited Drop Links and 5,000 messages per month per link, with optional PGP encryption. Message text is emailed to the verified recipient and never stored.
What happens if I hit my link limit?
Existing links keep working. You won't be able to create new links until you delete some or upgrade — the dashboard shows a clear 'limit reached' state with an upgrade path.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan requires no card, and you can create anonymous short links and secret links from the free tools without even signing up.
How does Agency billing work?
The Agency plan is $299/month and covers up to 25 isolated client workspaces and 10 agency seats under one subscription — one bill, roll-up billing across all client workspaces, with white-label branding and cross-client analytics included. That works out to under $12 per client workspace at full capacity. Need more room? Agency Plus is $799/month with up to 100 client workspaces and 50 agency seats. To subscribe, sign up, create your agency from the Agencies page, and choose a plan from its Billing tab.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet — all paid plans are currently billed monthly, and you can change or cancel your plan from the billing page at any time. Annual billing is on the roadmap.
Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades are self-serve from the billing page. Your links and click data remain intact when you change plans; features simply follow your current tier's limits, so on Free the dashboard shows the last 7 days of history and unlocks the rest again when you upgrade.
What does the Enterprise plan include?
Everything in Agency plus unlimited clients, seats, and domains, SSO/SAML, dedicated support, and a custom SLA. Pricing is custom — contact us and we'll scope it with you.
